| Crocheted granny squares for tetris blanket - it will take quite a while still to get ready though... 7 colors and black, and original color/shape combinations. | |
| Ikea entrance, Round Rock. | |
| Still learning to make the perfect shots of them... Ernie has a gorgeous chocolate black color that isn't really easy to capture. | |
| Kittens are fun to follow, and hard to take photos of when in fast motion. And even more difficult when they are black ones... | |
| My recently discovered enjoyable hobby - making liquors. From left: Cloudberry liquor, cinnamon liquor, limecello, limoncello, vanilla syrup (not liquor), oranjello. The green bottles are San Pellegrino glass water bottles, to use for the stuff that didn't fit in these bottles... | |
| I'm still so used to using the camera only when "going somewhere when I know I will see something that I will like", even if it's most of the time with me when out and about... there has to be something worth a picture every day. Something different every day. Maybe not 365 completely different things every year but something. A new angle. A new crop. Something to educate the brain and the eye, even on the slow days... until a full set of 365 pictures for 2010 is there (and improved by 365 for 2011). | |
| I need to start to hang out more with my tripods to prevent the blurriness. | |
| Day 1 of year 2010. Trees | |
| Munkkivuori mall this fall... I'm doing a massive upload to flickr these days and will start to do a photo a day for this year too. | |
| Still life needs something fresh. | |
| Cape Clear island on the background (that would be my favorite spot of Ireland). This picture was taken late this fall but the colors are always beautiful out there. set | |
| On a day trip to Sherkin Island a few months ago. I've been slow uploading and updating all photos on flickr, but hopefully this next week I'll finally catch up. Set of Sherkin Island | |
| Detail of the old chair, paint removed. This chair used to be in the home my dad lived when he was a child. Now the chair was covered in light colored paint that was peeling off. This is my first attempt in old furniture restoring. I love the way the old dark paint looks below, so it will be no paint on top of it now. More pictures of the chair in the set | |
| 4th July. A day for the BBQ. Not a day for the rain and autumn floods, ideally... But it has been raining and raining for the past 24 hours, with water on the streets downtown, and no end (raining 2.30AM still) photoset | |
| We went to Skellig island in Co Kerry for a day. A lot of puffins and an old monastery, even on a foggy day <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/zisa/sets/72157605507305449/>a lot to see.
| |
| A cute seal interested in our fish in Kinsale harbor last weekend (when coming back from a fishing trip). | |
| We went a few weeks ago to Cape Clear (again), and this is one of the lovely views from there. Way more photos here. | |
| It's spring when the trees blossom like this. | |
| There were hundreds of people selling daffodils in Dublin on the daffodil day for cancer research and awareness, but none of them looked as cool as this guy. | |
| Sky seen from the plane the last day I saw my dad alive. | |
| Kinsale harbor on the dusk on a late December day | |
